Dinner is not the main course of the day in many Chilean households, and my family has what they call tea time around our traditional dinner time. The spread you see here before you includes bread rolls, pan de Pascua (to die for, yo), ham, and cheese with salmon flavor. The tea itself was British-style with milk and sugar--Chile is a unique South American country for its strong tea-drinking tradition.
